STK started with a camera and Tim's own kids on the lacrosse field. Then a team asked him to shoot for them, and the kids called the photos "filthy." He had to ask his daughter if that was a good thing. It is. It's the best thing.
Seventeen seasons later, the sidelines got bigger: Friday-night lights, PLU Saturdays, Husky Stadium, and pro turf with the Seattle Dragons and Seawolves Rugby. Somewhere between pee-wee and pro, the program count passed twenty.
The gear got sharper. The reason never moved: the look on an athlete's face the first time they see themselves the way the crowd sees them: full speed, mid-air, all heart.
"Sports, portraits, seniors, events. You name it, I can do that."
Smoke, fog, fire, and studio light on a team schedule. Media day is where a roster full of kids gets the magazine-cover treatment, one athlete at a time.
